Ever heard the expression "The cobbler's children have no shoes"?
This is my workshop. The place where I bring the seeds of my ideas to try and cultivate them into fully grown blooms. Except, like a gardener who is too busy working on other people's gardens, a carpenter building someone else's dream home while his own has a leaky roof, my personal space remains neglected. It has become a place where I dump my ideas, only returning to snatch a relevant item before taking it to my kitchen table to work on. Which incidently, doesn't look that great either.
Today I have decided to put a stop to my ridiculous behaviour. To prioritize time for my own space instead of ignoring this task that remains at the top of my " to do" list. I look forward to returning to other people's spaces after rediscovering my own.
